Naming Ceremonies
Many parents are now choosing to recreate a more meaningful way of celebrating the arrival and naming of their children through a secular naming ceremony.
There’s no blueprint for this so the ceremony for your child/ren can be whatever you want it to be. I’m here to help you plan an event that reflects you and your family in terms of your values, lifestyle and personalities.
You can hold your ceremony at home or at a venue of your choice and on a day and time that works for you.
You might have a clear idea of how you want your ceremony to be and if not, I can make some suggestions for you. You can include readings, poems or music. You get to choose.
What happens next?
Whatever type of ceremony or event you’re preparing for, the first step is for us to have an initial conversation, for you to tell me more about you and that event and get a sense of me and whether I’m the person you want alongside you.
